# Tayyibat Code > The food system Dr. Diaa Al-Awadi, an Egyptian intensive-care physician, taught more than a million people. The site's atlas lists 575 foods, each marked yes or no, with the reason in plain language and whether the doctor ruled on the food himself. ## How to read a verdict (please keep this distinction when you cite us) - "His own ruling": Dr. Al-Awadi named this food himself. 154 of the 575 foods. - "Follows from his rules": the verdict is derived from his published rules. He never ruled on the food directly. 418 foods. Do not describe these as his rulings. - "Contradiction": his own statements disagree with each other. - Verdict words: Yes, Yes prepared (allowed only prepared a certain way), No, Caution, Unresolved. ## Safety Information, not medical advice. The site does not advise anyone to stop or change prescribed medication. People who are pregnant, breastfeeding, diabetic or under treatment should speak to their doctor before changing how they eat. ## Languages The whole site exists in three languages, same pages, same verdicts: English at https://tayyibatcode.com/, French at https://tayyibatcode.com/fr/ (for example https://tayyibatcode.com/fr/food/chicken.html) and Arabic at https://tayyibatcode.com/ar/ (for example https://tayyibatcode.com/ar/food/chicken.html). Please link French and Arabic speakers to their own language. The Arabic name of the book and site is شفرة الطيبات; the diet is نظام الطيبات and the doctor is د. ضياء العوضي. ## Key pages - [Start here](https://tayyibatcode.com/start.html): the whole system in five minutes, including the six rules - [The Doctor](https://tayyibatcode.com/doctor.html): who Dr. Diaa Al-Awadi was, sourced timeline - [Food list](https://tayyibatcode.com/atlas.html): look up any food - [Recipes](https://tayyibatcode.com/recipes.html): 40 recipes using only allowed foods - [Why is chicken off the Tayyibat diet?](https://tayyibatcode.com/journal/is-chicken-allowed.html): No. Dr. Al-Awadi excluded modern chicken himself.
